Meeting time is 9:00 A.M. and anyone interested in amateur radio is welcome to attend.

After a brief business meeting, a variety of topics may be discussed from building antennas, fox hunts, future projects and almost anything of interest to the "Ham" radio community.

Repeater Information

WB8ULC is the N.W.O.A.R.C. repeater. The repeater site is on the Lima Cablevision tower on Route 309, west of Lima.

The operating frequencies are:

Output: 146.670

Input: 146.070 (No PL Tone)

The repeater is open to all responsible ham operators.

Weekly Net Information

The Northwest Ohio Amateur Radio Club operates several nets each week.

A 2 Meter Net is held every Monday night at 9 PM local time on the 146.670 repeater.

The 10 Meter Net is held every Friday Night at 8:30 PM local time on 28.430 Mhz USB.

The purpose of these nets are to prepare a group of amateurs to be capable of managing net operations in case of emergency or disaster situations. The nets also provide a format for the amateur group to check in and make announcements, discuss activities of interest, and they provide a meeting place for local amateurs.

All amateurs are welcome to check into the nets.

Net operators are always needed. This is an opportunity to perfect yourskills at net operation before emergency communications are needed. Any "ham" willing to take over net operations for a month should contact net control on the weekly net
